My Opinion About GayPOV:
I've always loved to feel right there in the middle of the action, and I assume that this is exactly how Gay POV is going to make me feel; after all, they wouldn't emphasize the point of view aspect of this site otherwise, right? Well, as I enter this site I can't in all honesty answer this question, since I've seen the bonus site Gay4Cash.
The bonus site isn't worth the bother, but I will try not to let this fact ruin my experience or taint my review of GayPOV. You also get access to wallpapers and live chats and there's a gay video store. The members' area was plain and simple, which is something I appreciated, and the menu was straight to the point. I was eager to dive into the action, though, and immediately headed into the video section.
The site contains only 15 movies and there aren't content dates, so I have no idea when you can expect new episodes. However, I have to kind of give the site the benefit of the doubt and suggest that there's something new at least two to four times a month. All the films come with a corresponding set of pictures, and there are roughly 75 images in each set. Photos have a documentary sort of feel as the photographer shoots the action of guys filming their own sex scenes. The shots are totally crisp, but the 800x533 images could stand to be a lot larger.
Movies are divided into five scenes, and you can stream them in four different qualities ranging from dial-up to average DSL quality. I'm happy to also report that the films are available as full-length 1700Kbps 720x480 MPEGs. While there is one new dude introduced in every episode, a guy named Sean is in each and every scene. I think that if you love how he sucks cock and if you think he's cute, then you'll get the most out of this site. However, it doesn't really exemplify the epitome of variety.
All scenes are shot indoors and begin with the camera mounted on a tripod to establish the setting. The scenes start out hot as the guys, who are completely horny, start kissing and sucking each others nipples while racing to get their clothes off. Dicks are typically large, and there's some cock-sucking before the camera is picked up by one of the guys. This is where the films start to get irritating. Fans of the extreme close-up will love watching a dick disappear into a moist mouth or a tight hole, but the camera doesn't stay steady enough to truly enjoy the angles.
Final Verdict:
If the 30-minute movies were more consistently steady, I think the Gay POV action would be especially hot, particularly to those of you who can't get enough of feeling like the face or ass in front of your eyes is being fucked by you alone. The overall image quality is great, but like I said, the camera is a bit dizzying at times. Even though the photos aren't large and there isn't a lot of content at the moment, I think that Gay POV does have a lot of potential. As much as I liked Sean, I really would have enjoyed more variety of models in the hardcore.
